Moreover, I wanted to say thank you for sending me a gift even though you couldn’t attend. It’s very nice of you. My parents say your pretty cool people, and they mentioned you have a friend for me. Call my mom to set up a play date. Ok, Bye.

Dear GG & Zadie

Please accept my typed thank you note as a heartfelt appreciation for your gift and attendance to my bris. Thank you GG for my OOTD (Outfit Of The Day) it complimented my eyes and Zadie, you’re a real menche for holding me during that whole shin-dig. For me, the highlight was the food & the Manischevitz.

My parents always tell me how lucky my sister and I are to have the coolest and most loving GG & Zadie… I wasn’t sure I believed them until I met you! Sincerely, from the bottom of my little heart, Thank You for sharing in this simchah with us! Looking forward to creating many more memories. I love you so much! Ps. Nina’s perspective:

I have a love-hate relationship with Mason’s Bris day, I spent most of it heavily crying due to my hormonal imbalance, partially uncomfortable due to my 2nd degree tear, lightly embarrassed by the crowded room staring back me and cringing to the idea that our son will be loosing his tip – all the while thinking “pass the Manischevitz, this mom needs a drink”.

But really, from the very bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this wonderful day a reality. Jo & Mason are incredibly lucky to have pretty awesome grandparents. Thank you for being there when we need you, for hugging us when we need hugs, and for loving our babies with your whole heart.  The day was a true simchah thanks to you.
